The Washington State Department of Ecology issued a News Release stating that an oil tanker en route from Port Angeles to Anacortes with a cargo of jet fuel experienced engine trouble and was escorted back to Port Angeles for repairs. The U.S. Cost Guard subsequently allowed the tanker to depart for Anacortes.
