The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a direct final rule extending, through December 17, 2009, the date for adoption of a rulemaking to address the control of emissions from new marine compression-ignition engines at or above 30 liters per cylinder. Comments on this change should be submitted by May 29.
