Eastern Pacific Shipping, bound4blue Completes Second eSAIL Retrofit

bound4blue and Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) have completed the second installation of eSAILs in EPS’ fleet, fitting three 22-meter-high units on MR tanker Pacific Sunstone at New Times Shipbuilding in Jiangsu Province, China. The project marks EPS’ first newbuild installation following a successful retrofit project on Pacific Sentinel.With smaller footprints than other solutions, eSAILs generate lift up to seven times greater than conventional rigid sails of the same size. Flex LNG Secures Long-Term Vessel Extensions, Contract Backlog

Flex LNG Ltd. has secured new long-term charter extensions for two LNG carriers while confirming the start of a major multi-year contract for another vessel, further strengthening its forward revenue visibility.The company said a supermajor charterer has exercised a second extension option for the Flex Resolute and Flex Courageous, adding 730 days to each contract and extending their employment through the first quarter of 2029. Port Houston Sees February Volume Increased by 4%

Cargo volumes continued strong at Port Houston in February, up 4% with 4,380,996 short tons handled across the Port’s eight public terminals.
