GTT Receives Samsung Heavy Industries Order for LNG Carrier Tank Design
GTT announces that it has received, in the first quarter of 2026, an order from the shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries for the tank design of one new Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC) on behalf of a European ship-owner.GTT will design the cryogenic tanks of the vessel, which will provide a total capacity of 180,000 m³. GTT announced that it received an order from Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard in the first quarter of 2026 for the tank design of two new Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLECs) on behalf of an Asian ship-owner.Each vessel will offer a capacity of 100,000 m³ and will feature cryogenic tanks designed by GTT, fitted with the Mark III membrane containment system.Delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the fourth quarter of 2028 and the first quarter of 2029.

GTT announced that it received, in early 2026, an order from the shipyard Jiangnan for the tank design of two new Liquefied Natural Gas Carriers (LNGCs) on behalf of the Singapore-based ship-owner Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS).GTT will design the cryogenic tanks of the vessels, which will each offer a capacity of 175,000 m³. The tanks will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.Delivery of the vessels is expected at the end of 2028.

The cryogenic tanks of the vessels will be equipped with the Mark III Flex+ membrane containment system, developed by GTT.Delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the third quarter of 2028 and the first quarter of 2029.

Each vessel will offer a capacity of 174,000 m³ and will be equipped with cryogenic tanks featuring the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.Delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the third quarter of 2028 and the first quarter of 2029.
