Republic of Moldova joins IMO

The Republic of Moldova has become a the 161st member of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), following its deposit, on December 12, 2001, of an instrument of acceptance of the Convention on the IMO, as amended, with the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
