Fog halted shipping on the Houston Ship Channel late on Jan. 10, but traffic was expected to resume Jan. 11 as temperatures rose and visibility was restored, the Houston Pilots Association said.
The ship channel is a busy waterway lined with oil refineries and petrochemical plants that links the Port of Houston to Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
