The U.S.-flag bulker Paul R.Tregurtha sustained damage after striking the bed of St. Mary's river in the U.S., on January 7, Reuters reported. The 69,172-dwt vessel proceeded to St. Claire, Michigan, to unload a cargo of coal. Some damage to its plating was reported. The bulker will at some point proceed to Sturgeon Bay for repairs and a winter lay-up.
