Walking the Walk: Gotland Horizon X Will be Hydrogen Ready
Since 1865 Gotland has provided a ferry service from the Swedish mainland to Gotland Island, with expansion. The ferry operator, which has continually expanded its services and routes over the last 160 years, is a long-term shipowner investing in assets that are designed for the long haul. Next up is the 130-m, 18,300-gt, 1500-passenger, 400-car, 30-knot catamaran Gotland Horizon X, a huge hydrogen-ready catamaran currently being built at Austal for delivery in the summer of 2028.
