Bill to promote natural gas Conservation

Senator Alexander (R-TN) introduced the Natural Gas Price Reduction Act of 2005 (S. 726) to promote the conservation and production of natural gas. Among other things, the bill, if enacted, would amend the Natural Gas Act and the Deepwater Port Act regarding federal permits and licenses for siting, construction, expansion, and operation of facilities for the import or export of natural gas.
