Tallink Grupp 2025 Net Profit Exceeds EUR 17 Million
AS Tallink Grupp has published its unaudited financial results for the 2025 financial year. The Group’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) totaled EUR 130 million, and net profit reached EUR 17.3 million. Hybrid-Capable Azimuth Units for Østensjø Rederi Tug
GONDAN Shipbuilders placed an order with Steerprop for hybrid-capable azimuth units to be installed on a new high-performance tugboat, the first tug design from naval architect Skipsteknisk, for Norwegian shipowner Østensjø Rederi. Steerprop will supply dual-end versions of its SP 50 W D propulsors — the most powerful ducted units it has ever delivered — providing the vessel with the flexibility to operate main propulsion using a diesel engine, an electric motor, or a combination of both.
GTT Receives Tank Design Order for Two LNG Carriers
GTT announced that it has received an order from the shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries for the tank design of two new Liquefied Natural Gas Carriers (LNGCs) in the first quarter of 2026.GTT will design the cryogenic tanks of the vessels, each with a capacity of 174,000 m³. The tanks will be fitted with GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system.Delivery of the vessels is expected between the fourth quarter of 2028 and the first quarter 2029.

GTT has received an order from the Jiangnan shipyard for the tank design of four new LNG carriers on behalf of Shandong Marine Energy, the ship-owner.GTT will design the cryogenic tanks which will each offer a total capacity of 175,000m³. Fincantieri Receives Order for Three Cruise Ships from Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings
Fincantieri announced the acquisition of an order from Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. for the construction of three next-generation cruise ships. The Coast Guard commissioned its newest and sixth Arctic District Fast Response Cutter (FRC), Coast Guard Cutter Frederick Mann (WPC 1160), for official entry into its service fleet during a ceremony held in Kodiak, Alaska, Friday.The ceremony was presided over by Rear Adm. Bob Little, commander of the Arctic District. Members of the Mann family were also in attendance, including the cutter’s sponsor, Mrs. Eugenia "Jeannie" Mann Hyder, niece of Frederick Mann. “Commissioning the Frederick Mann increases U.S. strength and ensures control of our maritime borders and approaches,” said Little.
