United Oil & Gas Signs Up TDI-Brooks for Survey Offshore Jamaica

United Oil & Gas has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with TDI-Brooks to secure a specialist survey vessel for a campaign offshore Jamaica.The work is related to the planned piston coring and surface geochemical program on the company’s Walton Morant Licence.The campaign forms a key part of United's forward work program under its extended license to January 2028. New Fortress Energy Charters FSRU for Dominican Republic LNG Terminal

U.S. energy company New Fortress Energy (NFE) has executed a three-year charter agreement for the Energos Freeze floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) with Energía 2000 in the Dominican Republic.The 125,000 m3 Energos Freeze FSRU will be deployed to Energía 2000 S.A.’s LNG import terminal located at the port of Pepillo Salcedo (Manzanillo).The FSRU is expected to start operations in September 2025. CMA CGM to Halt Calls at Haiti's Port au Prince

French shipping group CMA CGM said on Friday it was suspending its calls at Port au Prince due to the worsening security situation in the Haitian capital.The group, one of the world's largest container lines, will call at Lafito, 20 km from Port au Prince, as an alternative, while also continuing to call at Cap Haitien as usual, CMA CGM said in a customer advisory.(Reuters - Reporting by Gus Trompiz, Editing by Ingrid Melander)

Proman Stena Bulk Names Its First Methanol-fueld Tanker in Trinidad & Tobago

In a ceremony held in Trinidad and Tobago on November 23, 2022, Proman Stena Bulk Ltd formally named its first newbuild IMOIIMeMAX methanol-fueled 49,900 DWT vessel, Stena Pro Patria.Stena Pro Patria is the first of three methanol-fueled vessels delivered in 2022 to the joint venture between tanker company Stena Bulk and the methanol producer Proman, with a further three newbuilds due for  delivery between now and 2024.The naming ceremony was the first for a methanol-fueled newbuild in Trinidad and Tobago, and was attended by Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime  Minister, Dr.
