Mobil Starts Production In Norway

May 19, 1999

Mobil Corp. said that production began from the world's largest subsea development, the Asgard oilfield in the Norwegian Sea, operated by Norway's state oil company Statoil and in which Mobil has a 7.35 percent stake.
