Rolls-Royce Wins Navy Contract

Rolls Royce Naval Marine, Inc., , is being awarded a $7.9m firm-fixed-price contract for a DDG-1000 Baseline Tactical Auxiliary Turbine Generator (ATG) set engineering services and support. This ATG set will be delivered to the Navy land based test site in  This ATG set will meet the same specification established by the DDG-1000 shipyard for the lead ship installation. Work will be performed in , , (80 percent) and , (20 percent) and is expected to be completed by Feb. 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
